The Direction of HIJO DE JOSE MARTINEZ SOMALO, S.L. considers that the food safety, quality and environmental responsibility are key pillars for the organization, essential for a successful agri-food company, without forgetting the family spirit that permeates each level of the company and whose structure must be compatible with the commitment, evolution, productivity and adaptation to the market and society changes. Therefore, a COMPANY POLICY was approved, dividing it in two sections and establishing the following objectives:
1.- GENERAL VALUES
– Integration of all the company departments, achieving the active participation of all the staff, with the fundamental idea that the FOOD SAFETY, QUALITY and commitment to the ENVIRONMENT is a responsibility for all of us.
– COMMITMENT to comply with the legal and regulatory STANDARDS of the product and its production requirements, the environmental legislation, and the needs that the clients or interested parts demand. Also to act with HONESTY and INTEGRITY in the decision making, in every scope and level.
– CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT applying the Standards of Reference BRC and IFS and ISO 14.001, granting the CLIENT utmost satisfaction and best efficiency in our processes.
– Motivation of the Organization’s STAFF and appropriate training for every job function. To promote cooperation and teamwork.
– Selection of SUPPLIERS and subcontractors, establishing a direct and continuous contact with them that leads to a high quality in the process, product and services provided.
– Responsibility with the ENVIRONMENT. To prevent the pollution from its origin, reducing, if possible, the impacts and bad practices that have a negative repercussion in the surroundings, applying control programs in terms of dumped waste (recycling, segregation) and energy savings, in order to guarantee the balance of every human being with his environment (sustainability).
